Gretchen Roehrs

Gretchen Röehrs is an illustrator and painter living in San Francisco. Röehrs’ work spans delightfully frivolous fashion illustrations to large-scale portraits in oil paints, with lots of penciled cityscapes and pasteled flowers in-between. Recent illustrations have appeared in the pages of The New York Times, Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, and recent collaborations include Whole Foods, Starbucks, Marc Jacobs Beauty, and Sweetgreen. Profiles of the artist have appeared in the pages of The San Francisco Chronicle, The Guardian, and Cherrybombe Magazine, among others.. Roehrs’ first book, Edible Ensembles (2018), was published by Rizzoli International.
